In Home Newborn Photoshoot

There’s just something extra sweet about an in home newborn photoshoot—the calm, the comfort, and those first few weeks of new life unfolding right in the place you call home.

Meet baby Margaux -

Baby Margaux  was about a month old and already melting hearts, she had the tiniest fingers and toes, and the softest little coos that made the whole session feel peaceful and gentle. She barely made a fuss, but made the cutest little faces and was bright-eyed during our time together.

Their home was filled with soft light, warmth, and that quiet kind of love that settles in once you bring a baby home. One of my favorite parts? Their two sweet dogs had to get in on the action too (as they should!). They were the perfect protectors, snuggling up and sneaking into a few frames like total pros. And yes—we even snagged a few with Grandma, which felt like the perfect generational moment to freeze in time.

What makes at home newborn photoshoots so magical is how low-key and stress-free they can be. No packing diaper bags, no rushing out the door—it’s just you, your baby, your space, and all the love that already lives there. You don’t have to dress up or stage a perfect nursery. You don’t need to worry about the schedule, the potential blowouts… everything is right there where you need it.

The beauty is in the realness.

It’s about capturing tiny toes on your bedspread, snuggles in your favorite chair, and sleepy smiles in the comfort of your everyday.

If you're wondering when the perfect time for a newborn session is—this is your sign that it doesn’t have to be right away. Margaux was a month old and still every bit of a snuggly newborn. So if you’re dreaming of a cozy and meaningful way to remember this chapter, an in home newborn session might just be the perfect fit.
